About Us

Located in beautiful Palm Beach County Florida, Genesis House is a private family style recovery center just outside of West Palm Beach. Our facility sits on five lush acres of manicured lawns, towering pines, and coconut palms. We have a small number of treatment beds which helps the new client develop a bond with their peers, counselors, and staff in a relatively short period of time. We believe in keeping the program at a manageable level of clients to maintain the integrity of treatment in all modalities of our program.

Genesis House works closely with both local and out of state courts. We are a popular referral source for many professionals in the field of addiction and mental health treatment. Genesis House can provide the suffering person a safe, secure, professional environment to glean the care, answers, and support they so desperately need in their lives. Substance dependence is a difficult illness to overcome. The team at Genesis House believes that anyone can recover from addiction with the proper education, support and willingness. Genesis House can provide the individual with the tools, guidance, and direction in that first step to long lasting health and sobriety.

The philosophy of Genesis House is based on the theory that addiction to alcohol and other substances is a three-fold disease: spiritual, physical, and mental. We believe in the wisdom and utilization involved in the 12-step programs of recovery that have proven to be effective for many hundreds of thousands of people and their families. We therefore believe that the recovery process involves the mental, physical, and spiritual aspects of recovery. We also believe that healing is a very difficult and painful process, the same as recovery from any other illness. The philosophy of Genesis House treat all three phases of the disease with the wisdom and healing of the 12-steps and the most current medical, psychological, holistic, and spiritual approaches.
